Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

• Location: when you request service, we collect your location once, to route a technician to you. While a technician is en route to a job, we collect their location continuously so you can track their live ETA. This is the technician’s location, not the customer’s, and it stops once the job is no longer active. Your own location is deleted automatically about a month after your job wraps up — we keep the mileage figures your taxes and ours need, never the raw location itself.
• Contact information: name, phone number, and email address, so we can reach you about your service.
• Vehicle information: make, model, and battery details you provide, so we can plan the right charge for your vehicle.
• Payment information: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

2. How we use it

To dispatch and route a technician, show you live tracking, process payment, and follow up about your service. We don’t use your information for anything else.

3. Sharing

We don’t sell your data. We share information only with the service providers that make RESQVOLT work, such as Stripe for payment processing, and only as needed for them to provide that service to us.

4. Your public tracking link

When you book, we generate a private link you can use to track your service. That link expires after a set period and isn’t reusable once your job is complete.

5. Data retention

We keep job records for as long as needed for business, accounting, and legal purposes. You can ask us to delete personal information we hold about you, subject to what we’re required to keep for these purposes.

6. Cookies and ad measurement

We want to know which of our ads actually bring people here, so we ask before we measure anything. If you say yes, Google’s advertising tag may set its cookies, Meta’s pixel loads, and our own server sends Meta a matching record so one booking counts once rather than twice. That record carries your email address and phone number as a one-way scrambled code, never the address or the number themselves.

Until you say yes, Google’s tag runs with cookies and personalization switched off: it only tells Google that a page loaded, without identifying you, and Meta’s pixel does not load at all. If you say no, that stays the case, and we still note which link brought you to us so we can credit the right channel, but that stays with us and no advertising cookie is set.

7. Your choices

You can ask what information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, by contacting us at info@resqvolt.com.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the business grows. The current version, with its effective date, is always posted here.
