Terms of Service
1. Who we are
RESQVOLT is DCDG LLC, a Missouri limited liability company doing business as RESQVOLT. We provide mobile electric vehicle charging: a technician drives a charging van and generator to your vehicle’s location and charges it on site. These Terms govern your use of resqvolt.com and the RESQVOLT request and tracking app.
2. The service
We charge your vehicle where it already is, using our own generator and charging equipment. We do not tow, repair, or diagnose vehicles. Charging speed and total time on site depend on your vehicle’s charging capability, its battery state, and site conditions. They’re estimates, not guarantees.
3. Quotes and pricing
Before you book, we show you an itemized price: a base dispatch fee, mileage beyond our included radius if any, your requested charge amount, and any applicable premiums for emergency dispatch or after-hours service. Quoted prices are held for a limited time; if a quote expires before you accept it, we’ll requote at the current price. The price you accept at booking is the price you’re charged, unless you request a change on site, such as adding charge beyond what you originally booked.
4. Cancellation and refunds
- Cancel before your technician is dispatched (before “en route”): full refund.
- Cancel after your technician is en route: the dispatch fee is retained to cover the trip already underway, and the remainder of your payment is refunded.
- No-show: if our technician arrives at the location you provided and cannot reach you or your vehicle within a reasonable wait, we may charge a no-show fee to the card on file. By booking, you authorize us to charge that card for a no-show fee under these circumstances. We’ll always try to contact you before treating a visit as a no-show.
5. Service limitations
- Our service area is Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Kansas, generally within 200 miles of our Joplin, MO base. Trips beyond about 150 miles may carry a long-distance premium, shown in your quote before you book. Requests beyond about 200 miles are quoted case by case or may be declined.
- We reserve the right to decline a job for safety reasons, such as an unsafe location, severe weather, or vehicle conditions we can’t safely work around, or when the fuel and equipment on hand can’t support the requested charge.
- Emergency (“splash”) charges deliver enough charge to safely reach a nearby charging option, not necessarily a full battery.
6. Your responsibilities
Provide an accurate location and accurate vehicle information, keep the area around your vehicle clear and safe (kids and pets away from the generator and cables), and don’t move the vehicle while it’s connected.
7. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. We don’t store your full card details; see our Privacy Policy.
8. Text messages
If you give us a phone number, we may text you about a service you’ve requested: a link to track your technician, status updates, and receipts. These are service messages, not marketing. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts from us, or let us know and we’ll turn it off on our end.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the business grows. The current version, with its effective date, is always posted here.
